This is an example of a Transaction table combination. It relates two tables into one data entry screen by displaying the Invoices Master table in the top window with all of the typical entry items for an invoice. Then, for each invoice in this 'parent' table, it displays the Invoice Lines 'child' table with all of the multiple rows of transactions that can occur within a single invoice, such as partial payments, credits and discounts. As you scan forward and back in the top window, the associated child records automatically display in the bottom window.
The Invoices parent table in the top window demonstrates a few of the different data entry input features CMS Composer is capable of such as: simple text entry fields, a dropdown list (Contact Type), a text area (Comments), a checkbox (List Opt In) and a read only Created Date/Time. You try it by adding new or editing existing contacts.
After you see how the Full Edit screen mode works, try clicking the 'List Records' button to enter into the multi-line Quick Edit screen mode. You might think that the Comments text area is a bit cramped until you right click on it to discover its full page entry feature.
